Without it, we are at higher risk of developing 17 varieties of cancer as well as heart disease, stroke, hypertension, autoimmune diseases, diabetes, depression, chronic pain, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, muscle weakness, muscle wasting, birth defects, periodontal disease, and more. Make sure you spend a few minutes in the sun at the beginning and the end of each day in summer and a few hours during winter.
